Return Policy

To initiate a return, please email us for approval via email, info@byilariaromeo.com within the first 2 days upon receiving your garment. 

Please state if you wish to exchange or receive a credit note. If you believe your garment is faulty, please provide images and description of fault via email immediately.
Once your garment has been approved for return, we will provide our return address. We request you return it back to us within 7 working days from the initial date of confirmed email approval. Returns outside this period will not be accepted.  

RETURN ELIGIBILITY
by iLARIA ROMEO does not offer refunds for any purchases unless the garment is deemed faulty. If you have a change of mind for any reason, we will offer you an online store credit note or exchange. Should you exchange for a garment of higher value, the balance will need to be paid or if lower value we will refund you the difference. 

To be eligible for a return, please ensure.
*garment/s is in the same new condition that you received it
*all tags still attached, unworn, unwashed and in the original packaging
*has not been altered or damaged
*NO bad odours and or deodorant/perfume smells or stains
*NO makeup or fake tan stains or markings
*NO stains from food or drinks
*must have receipt or proof of purchase

by iLARIA ROMEO reserves the right to deny a return or exchange if item/s returned are deemed worn, altered, damaged and or stained in anyway. In this case, it will be the customer’s responsibility to cover the shipping cost back if ineligible of an exchange or credit note.

To ensure items are fit for return, we recommend that you:
* Do not apply any fragrances, body moisturisers and oils directly on your skin before trying the garment on to avoid staining fabrics.
* Do not let makeup or fake tan rub off on garments, and
* Do not allow jewellery to catch on garments

COLOUR

The colour of the garments displayed on the website and social media platforms may vary on different media screens when compared to the physical product. External factors such as lighting and flash photography may also affect the true colour of all garments, hence why we strive to accurately identify the colour of the garment within the description. These factors include but not limited to: Monitor/Screen Type, Device age & Device Brand, Display Settings, Flash/Lighting within displayed content.
Furthermore, slight variation of colour may occur due to fabric sourcing where an entirely new batch of fabric has been used. Even though the colour of the fabric sourced is as close as possible to the original colour shown. 
by iLARIA ROMEO will not be consider or accept ‘colour’ as a manufacturing fault for a reason to refund. If you are unsure of colour, please contact us.

FABRICATION
Garments may differ in pattern placement to the original sample displayed online. Fabrics such as laces, beaded fabrics, feathers, beading and 3D flower placement may contribute to slight variation due to different fabrication batch and hand-made production and placements.
by iLARIA ROMEO designers work on one garment at a time, with the utmost care and pay close attention to every detail to ensure all placements are as accurate as possible to the initial sample shown online. Garments with feathers are applied individually by hand with a delicate technique. However, some feathers may shed during wear and tear. Unfortunately, this is inevitable and to be expected due to the delicate nature. 
by iLARIA ROMEO will not consider or accepted any ‘fabrication’ reasons as a manufacturing fault to refund. If you are unsure of fabrics, please contact us.

CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY
It is the customers responsibility to cover the cost of the garment return to by iLARIA ROMEO via a registered post company unless your item is deemed faulty. In this case we will refund you the postage with proof of transaction amount. Once we have inspected the garment and deemed its manufacturing fault, we will refund you in full.

The tracking number of your garment/s return must be provided via email to info@byilariaromeo.com
It is recommended you send us a photo image of the tracking number with the courier company to avoid any mistakes with letters or numbers used as the tracking ID verification.

If the return is lost in transit back to us, it is the customer’s responsibility to contact and follow it up with the courier and cover any cost of lost or damaged item/s. by iLARIA ROMEO is not liable and will not be able to issue an exchange or credit note if the garment is not received back.

CONSUMER GUARANTEE

For all customers by iLARIA ROMEO would provide a full refund if the garment wrredeemed faulty or in a rare case receive the incorrect item. We reserve the right to repair minor defects, replace or provide a full refund of faulty garments. You acknowledge and agree that you are obliged to accept garments which have been subject of minor repair by us. 

QUALITY CONTROL 

All by iLARIA ROMEO garments prior to dispatch go through a quality control process to ensure there are no faults, however human error may occur at times. Please note, some items are very delicate and must be treated with a lot of care. by iLARIA ROMEO will not accept a return for a garment where fault or damage has been caused by, wearing of the garment, incorrect caring for or incorrect size choice of the garment. 
Should you notice a genuine fault please contact us immediately.


SALE ITEMS

All sale garments are final and not eligible for refund or exchange. 

CREDIT NOTE

Credit notes are sent out as ’Gift cards’ and have no expiry date and cannot be returned or refunded. Once your gift card has been generated it is sent via text message and email. Please check your junk folder if it does not go directly in your email inbox.

UNCLAIMED PARCELS 
Parcels that are returned to us as 'Unclaimed' or 'Rejected' by the customer will not qualify for a refund. Instead, you will be issued with a credit note.

EXCHANGE & CREDIT NOTE PROCESS

Once your garment has been received back to us, it will undergo inspection to ensure the garment meets its preconditions. If approved, you are eligible for an exchange or credit note. Please note, credit notes are sent out as ‘Gift Cards.’
Your own return postage costs are not refundable unless garment is deemed faulty. Items exchanged will be re-sent at the cost of by iLARIA ROMEO.
If the garment does not meet its preconditions, you will not be eligible for an exchange or credit note. You will need to pay a flat rate postage fee of $20.00 for the garment to be returned
. by iLARIA ROMEO will send you back the garment once the postage has been paid. 

REFUND PROCESS - faulty items only eligible.
If your garment is deemed faulty, a full refund will be issued. Once processed, your financial institution may take 3-5 business days to process the funds back to your account. Please note, this is out of our control. 
by iLARIA ROMEO will notify you via email with proof of refund transaction once processed.
